responsibilities:
Responsibilities:

  • Implement and provide technical or business guidance on new GAAP (i.e. revenue recognition)
  • Prepare and analyze the segments balance sheets and income statements as presented in the monthly reports
  • Interact with various groups in the Company to establish and/or clarify accounting policies in accordance with GAAP/Company policy
  • Prepare, analyze and present the segments financial results to senior management on a quarterly basis
  • Support business budgeting/forecasting
  • Identify and solve accounting and business issues as they arise
  • Ensure accounting controls are maintained and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures through regular performance reviews, identifications of control gaps and leading any necessary remediation efforts
  • Participate in special projects as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
 
qualifications:
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Master's degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant [CPA] (Upon Hire)
  • Five (5) years or more of experience in public accounting
  • Excellent analytical, communication (written and oral), organizational, and research skills
  • Ability to:

    • Manage multiple projects
    • Interact with senior management
  • Technical knowledge of GAAP (advanced level)
