Legal Assistant

Randstad has partnered with a Law Firm in Boston to fill a Legal Assistant position. The Legal Assistant will be supporting 5 attorneys at the firm. The ideal candidate for this role will have 2-3 years of litigation experience, has drafted legal correspondence, and filed motions. In addition, the candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. The hours will be 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. This would come to a 35 hour work week (8 hour day with 1 hour unpaid lunch).  

Responsibilities

- Managing Attorneys' calendars

- Taking Dictation

- Draft Legal Correspondence 

- Handle Electronic Filing 

- Schedule Depositions

- Arrange for Attorneys' travel when needed 

- File motions 

- Client correspondence 

Qualifications: 

- 2-3 years of litigation experience

- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Nuance, and iManage

- Professional, polished, tactful

-Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with individuals at all levels or the organization
