Randstad Staffing has a national partnership with a client in the Commercial Printing industry. This client has a location in Des Moines, IA and they are seeking a 2nd & 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanic to join their team on a DIRECT HIRE basis. Must be able to troubleshoot allen bradley and siemen machines. PLC knowledge is required, able to work with 480V, AC/DC drives 2nd shift: M-F 3pm-11pm 3rd shift: S-TH 11pm-7am Pay: $20-25/hr Benefits:  9 paid holidays, 2 weeks PTO, Dental/Medical, Short/Longterm disability, 401k match and profit sharing. Works with all production departments to complete mechanical and electrical maintenance duties. This is not a building maintenance position - responsibilities are about 60 percent electrical and 40 percent mechanical working with various manufacturing machines to identify and resolve issues and keep equipment running efficiently. Will also perform routine aspects of preventative maintenance and electronic operations of the production equipment. This is a printing business with large web presses, baler, bindery and mail inserting equipment. 

The essential functions of this role include:
