Randstad SDET/ QA SME Operations Consultant
Remote - prefer East Coast and Atlanta, GA area
1 year contract
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without additional sponsorship
This is not a QA hands on role- more Management Operations
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES The SDET/ QA SME Operations Consultant is expected to lead by example while maintaining a client focus and execute job responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
Working with Randstad sales, delivery and recruiting organizations to recruit qualified resources by conducting technical screenings.
Routinely meet with project team and client technical leadership to maintain relationships and foster a culture of Continuous Service Improvement.
Providing thought leadership on technology trends related to QA and testing to technical team members and the broader organization as needed.
Supporting Practice and Competency leads in the creation of solution proposals, estimates, resource plans, and schedules.
Assisting in maturing and developing practice offerings and assets
Following Randstad technical standards developed by the Technology, Architecture and Governance team
Using your strong consultative, listening, communications and analytical skills to meet client's needs
Supporting company culture and ensuring timely communication up and down the organization
Background EXPERIENCE (must come from a QA background) 8+ years of experience in SDET/QA role on software development teams in either a Java or .NET environment
2+ of experience in a SDET/QA leadership/management role providing guidance and mentoring for junior resources.
Experience with automation frameworks, tools & technologies like BDD/TDD, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, Rest Assured, JUnit, TestNG.
strong technical exposure and experience in Microservices, REST API development, Message queues, middle-ware components, Workflow/Rules
Experience with automated testing of front end testing of both web and mobile applications
Understand of how to deliver QA services using Agile Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies
Hands on experience in supporting existing applications, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Experience leading QA teams, influencing and collaborating in a matrix-managed environment and across multiple, diverse groups
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to communicate with business and non-technical client resources
Bachelor's degree, preferably in information technology or engineering disciplines.
