This person will oversee accounting operations as well as some aspects of employee relations. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Finance & Accounting. The Senior Financial Accountant's responsibilities include the accurate and timely preparation and analyses of all facets of the financial operations which include leading the month end close process, preparation of financial statements, cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other accounting related duties. CPA license is preferred, but not required.Proven experience (3+ years) in accounting roles. Experience with human relations processes is a plus.Thorough grasp of financial management principles, encompassing GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting.Proficiency in financial software and systems, including ERP systems, financial modeling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong MS Excel skills are a must and experience using Quickbooks is preferred.Annual starting salary $100,000-$120,000.
