Contract position - Shipping Receiving Clerk - Hologic Danbury, CT  A large Biotech company is looking to hire a Shipping/Receiving clerk. In this role you will become part of team that is reponsible for ensuring the proper shipping, packaging and documentation protocols are followed in their warehouse. Process documentation utilizing internal systems along with Electronic Data Interchange Systems supplied by various carriers. - Prepares and packages products as per prescribed methods, verifying content against shipping and packaging documentation. - Disassemble and package Bone Densitometer Systems in accordance with shipping assembly instructions. - Assists in maintaining packaging supply levels through inventory process. - Processes customer orders utilizing carrier supplied systems and in-house systems. - Provides assistance to other departments in order to meet company goal objectives. - Uses and maintains tools and equipment associated with position. -Will be using power Jacks, drills and forklift. - Job training and cross-training of less experienced or new employees is provided. - Ensures availability of all material through processing and expediting - Actively supports and adheres to the Quality System, ISO 13485 certification, and GMP s. Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and versatile Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the loading of trucks and occasional operation of a forklift within our warehouse facility. Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently load trucks with merchandise according to loading schedules and instructions. Utilize a forklift as needed to move and organize inventory within the warehouse. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse space to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as assigned by supervisor. Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety and operation of equipment. Qualifications: Previous experience working in a warehouse environment preferred. Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively (valid forklift certification preferred). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
