Pre-IPO, popular major retail-chain company with over 70 locations nationwide is looking for an Assistant Controller. Reports to the Controller, you will be overseeing finance and accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end close process. Identify opportunities to streamline and shorten the days to close while working toward a consistent and repeatable process.
- Assist the Controller with monthly financial statement reporting for both internal and external reporting.
- Support annual audit, including preparation and review of documentation and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely completion
- Build and develop team members
- Develop and ensure adherence to internal controls
BS degree
CPA a plus
7+ years of experience with public accounting and industries
Experience with NetSuite a plus but not required
