Our client is seeking a Divisional Controller accountable for the financial operations of the production unit. Includes the broad duties to direct, coordinate and execute all aspects of financial planning, analysis and control.

Reporting: Report and interpret financial and operational information in an accurate and timely manner through effective reporting systems and analytical methods. Oversee the issuance of timely financial information to the parent company through a reporting systems and procedures. Conduct product and customer analysis in support of management goals and objectives. Ensure that operational goals are linked to overall business plans and assist management in monitoring performance.
Compliance: Identify, develop and implement appropriate and effective financial controls. Guide the planning and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and systems for all operations to ensure that company policies and financial guidelines are followed. Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
Planning: Consult with management on any aspect of the operation relating to the establishment or attainment of interim and long term objectives; administration of policies and procedures, and selection from investment alternatives to optimize business and financial performance. Prepare management to act on business opportunities, using an "outside-in" approach, by describing and explaining the financial consequences of such opportunities. Coordinate the strategic business plan, annual profit plans, and quarterly forecasts.
Performance Management: Set KPIs and financial targets for the unit, together with PU Management.
Operations: Participate in key decisions as a member of the management team. Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team.
Pricing: calculate the various production unit department's costs and rates as well as calculate labor hours, having pricing considerations in mind.
Transactions: Oversee the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, and General Ledger operations for the accounting department. Oversee the controlling activities of operations. Coordinate and monitor pricing and profitability decisions.
Additional Responsibilities: Participate on teams for various company initiatives and actively seek cost reductions and improvement of profit margins.
Expert financial knowledge with ability to understand and communicate business opportunities and trends that may influence financial operations and attainment of results. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence stakeholders, problem solve and make decisions that have significant impact on the achievement of business objectives.
5 to 10 plus years of experience in a Business Control or Finance function.
University Degree in Business Management or related field; MBA preferred.
Regular Domestic and International travel is required.
