responsibilities:
- Revenue Recognition: Direct oversight of WIP schedules, Earned Revenue, and Accruals. Manage over/under billings with precision to ensure accurate cash flow forecasting.
- Project Administration: Manage the full cycle of AIA billings, pay applications, stored materials, and lien waivers. Ensure compliance across certified payrolls and builder portal requirements.
- Systems & Analytics: Leverage Power BI, advanced Excel, and AI-driven accounting tools to modernize reporting and provide actionable insights to the executive team.
- Job Costing: Oversee job setups, change order impacts, and estimating reconciliations.
qualifications:
- Education: BS in Accounting or Finance.
- Certification: CMA strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of construction-specific accounting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI and FP&A modeling. Experience with AI implementation in accounting workflows is a significant advantage.
- Leadership: Proven ability to solicit input from diverse team members and drive consensus in a fast-paced environment.
