responsibilities:
- Plan and execute laboratory tasks utilizing standard procedures and advanced technical understanding to support pipeline projects.
- Independently generate precise, reliable, and reproducible data while documenting all experimentation per strict regulatory requirements.
- Develop comprehensive protocols for complex tests and experiments involving less defined assays and parameters.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, LC/MS, and ICP.
- Ensure all safety and GxP (GMP/GLP) requirements are consistently met during the performance of laboratory tasks.
- Interpret experimental data with high precision and apply basic computer skills for data processing and spreadsheet management.
- Present experimental findings and technical data to larger audiences and internal stakeholder groups.
qualifications:
Required Skills
- BS in Chemistry (or related field) with 5 years of lab experience, or a Master's Degree with 2 years of lab experience.
- Proficiency with analytical instruments: HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, MS, and ICP.
- Direct experience with chromatography data systems (e.g., Empower, Openlab, or Chromeleon).
- Solid understanding of chemistry fundamentals and lab research experience (academic or industry).
- Familiarity with GMP and GLP regulations and working in a regulated environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to large groups.
- Proven track record of scientific presentations or publications.
- Advanced experience in developing protocols for complex or undefined assays.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is highly preferred.
- Exceptional documentation skills within a GxP framework.
