responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QSP platform models for diverse oncology mechanisms, including immune checkpoint inhibitors, ADCs, and T-cell engagers.
- Create and optimize Virtual Populations to capture patient heterogeneity and predict clinical outcomes through advanced simulations.
- Integrate AI and machine learning techniques to enhance literature screening, model drafting, and the optimization of virtual cohorts.
- Inform clinical strategy by delivering data-driven results regarding dose selection, treatment regimens, and optimal drug combinations.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to align MIDD capabilities with broader clinical pharmacology and development goals.
- Manage complex datasets by performing mathematical and statistical analyses of biological and physiological processes.
qualifications:
Required Skills
- PhD or Master's degree in Quantitative Systems Pharmacology, Systems Biology, Pharmacometrics, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in QSP model development or Systems Biology modeling.
- Proficiency in Differential Equations and modeling biological systems.
- Expertise in Scripting Languages, specifically R, Matlab, or Python.
- Proven scientific track record in statistical modeling within a drug development context.
- Experience with AI/Machine Learning augmentation for pharmacometric workflows.
- Specific expertise in Oncology mechanisms (CAR-T, ADCs, or IO/ICI).
- Fluency in German is a plus to facilitate communication with global leadership.
- Strong communication skills with a "hands-on" scientific mindset.
