Leading Electronics Manufacturer is in search of a skilled Mechanical Assembler to work within their Production department. We are seeking candidates that have 2-3 years of experience within assembly. Candidates who have Thermoforming experience are highly desired.
This is a contract to hire position ranging from $20-$21 an hour. Position is 1st Shift, 7 am to 3:30 pm Mon. - Fri. Full benefits are available through Randstad. Please apply today!

responsibilities:
- Read and understand blueprints and routings to produce parts from them to the required specifications.
- Responsible for the quality of the assemblies produced.
- Perform first piece inspection and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality.
- Responsible for the care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean.
- Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding.
- Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety.
- Maintain inventory of product in workstations
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
- Identify product defects and report it
- Maintain safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards as required
- Maintain accurate and timely data
- Report any safety problems, hazards, accidents and near misses to management
- Properly use safety equipment, including machine guarding, interlocks and safety curtains are working properly or report it
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve simple quality product issues

- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Education: High School (required)
