A Quality Systems Engineer is needed for a world leader in medical devices that seeks to offer innovative solutions in neurosurgery, and reconstructive and general surgery in the Mansfield, MA area. This Quality System Engineer role will manage and improve the site QMS, focusing heavily on backlogged CAPA, NC, and Complaint closure/investigations, and providing QA support to manufacturing in a regulated industry (Medical Device preferred).

responsibilities:
- Manage the project to backlog Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Non-Conformances (NC), and Complaints.
- Drive CAPA, NC, and Complaints to closure.
- Conduct NC investigations.
- Perform Project Management duties, utilizing cross-functional team experience.
- Support the site Quality Management System (QMS).
- Drive improvements to the QMS.
- Have oversight of and ensure compliance with the CAPA, NC, and Quality Planning processes.
- Provide experienced quality assurance support to manufacturing and product development teams.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- 4-6 years of experience.
