Test Technician needed for an immediate long term contract role in the Greensboro, NC area to assist the team with the troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing machinery for automation. This is a great hands-on opportunity for a test technician to deep dive on sophisticated machinery and test several pneumatic/hydraulic components and systems.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 3 years related experience, superior skills in problem-solving, communication and proven machine experience. Along with the 3+ years of related experience working this person should be familiar with Word, Excel for documentation. responsibilities:
- Creating test equipment by working from drawings, solid models, or verbal direction
- Use of machine tools to cut, drill, and shape raw materials to meet requirements.
- Perform engineering tests, follow procedures capturing relevant data
- Work with department resources on conclusions and findings
- Support continuous improvement
- Assist with field installation, troubleshooting as well as support
- AS degree preferred, with minimum of 3+ years of related experience working with pneumatic/hydraulic systems and assemblies
- Knowledge of machine tool, manufacturing machinery, to include hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to output high-quality work with attention to detail
- Proven communication skills with a superior team attitude
