responsibilities:
- Oversee all job site activities, ensuring workmanship, quality, schedule, and safety compliance.
- Supervise subcontractors and trades; serve as the primary onsite representative.
- Manage the site safety program, including documentation, weekly meetings, and adhering to OSHA and ICRA standards.
- Read construction documents and develop both the overall schedule and a detailed four-week look ahead.
- Direct field staff, manage materials/equipment delivery, and coordinate all necessary inspections.
- Lead pre-installation meetings, manage mock-ups, and supervise punch list inspections.
- Maintain open communication with the Project Manager, owner, and facility staff; complete all required site documentation.
- Five or more years experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction, healthcare is a must.
- Experience in both new construction and renovation projects.
- Minimum OSHA 30 training and active First Aid/CPR certification.
- Expert knowledge of construction methodologies and ICRA requirements.
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and build professional relationships.
- Highly analytical, organized, and effective communicator.
