A Validation Engineer is needed for a Swiss multinational manufacturing company for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and nutrition sectors, in the Vacaville, CA area. A QC Lab Equipment Qualification Specialist responsible for planning, executing, and documenting equipment qualification protocols under direct supervision, ensuring full cGMP compliance.

responsibilities:
- Support and execute QC laboratory equipment qualification activities under direct supervision.
- Ensure full compliance with current cGMP regulations, corporate principles, and quality standards.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement projects to maintain the company's right to operate, supply to patients, and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform qualification of laboratory equipment in accordance with EQ policies, plans, and procedures.
- Coordinate with laboratory personnel to define qualification requirements.
- Author, review, and execute equipment qualification protocols.
- Coordinate qualification activities with vendors and other support groups.
- Identify business, quality, and compliance gaps.
- Sign documents for authorized activities.
- Perform other tasks as requested by Senior Management to support QC laboratory operations
- Requires knowledge of cGMP or equivalent regulations.
- Ability to make sound decisions about scheduling and managing priorities.
- Demonstrate flexibility in problem solving, direction, and work hours.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence.
- Capable of building trustful and effective relationships.
- Able to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans.
- Takes responsibility, drives results, and achieves expected outcomes.
- Requires a BS/BA degree (preferably in a scientific discipline).
- Minimum of two years' experience in Validation or equipment qualification is desired.
