This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying advanced robotic, automation, and vision technologies-while leading end-to-end manufacturing innovation projects that enhance production capabilities.
The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited engineering degree and brings at least 2 years of automotive or manufacturing experience, including hands-on work with ROS, robotics integration, and vision systems. They demonstrate project management skills, technical proficiency in CAD/CAM and equipment installation, and are comfortable deploying AI/ML solutions while managing travel and overtime requirements.
Duration: 8 month contract with a well known automotive manufacturer!

responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced automation, robotics, and virtual safety systems.
- Design machine components, control systems, and PLC/embedded software.
- `Integrate and test robots, vision systems, and AI/ML solutions.
- Lead projects from concept to full production launch, including schedules and vendor coordination.
- Create technical proposals, communicate with stakeholders, and present updates to leadership.
- Develop equipment specifications, support procurement, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Document processes, maintain project records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot and optimize automation and robotic systems in manufacturing environments.
