Entry level AutoCAD Drafter is needed in Bloomington, MN for a top engineering firm in the area due to growth. The ideal candidate is proficient in AutoCAD to contribute to industrial and commercial projects, while MicroStation, 2D, 3D, Inventor would be a plus. Will need to be able to communicate with engineers, project managers and team members. CAD certification is preferred for this onsite role.

responsibilities:
- Drafting and Revision: Prepare and revise engineering drawings (components, plots) using specific sketches or layouts.
- Standards Adherence: Ensure all drafting work strictly adheres to company and client drafting standards and discipline-specific practices.
- Design Support: Assist in drafting the design and documentation for various engineering projects.
- Process Improvement: Utilize standard detail programs and assist in continuous drafting detail improvement efforts.
- Problem Solving: Research solutions for project concerns and recommend solutions to design problems.
