A Plant Administrator is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Mount Pleasant, TN area. This job provides multi-departmental administrative support and operational coordination for the Mount Pleasant facility by managing communications, documentation, employee programs, and logistics to ensure efficient site leadership and a positive workplace culture.

responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Plant Manager and site leaders across HR, EHS, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and R&D.
- Prepare presentations, memos, and documents using Microsoft applications.
- Plan and coordinate onsite and offsite meetings and events.
- Draft and disseminate internal and external communications.
- Manage travel arrangements for staff.
- Maintain and schedule administrative conference rooms.
- Oversee operations of company stores.
- Manage mass communications specifically for the Mount Pleasant, TN site.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and community events to foster an inclusive culture.
- Serve as the administrator for the HSI Learning Management System.
- Maintain and organize files in accordance with company record retention procedures.
- Order and manage office supply inventory.
- Administer employee programs for safety shoes, safety eyeglasses, and uniforms.
- Organize and set up employee training sessions.
- Identify process improvement areas and implement solutions.
- Receive incoming raw materials and finished goods while verifying accuracy in the SAP system.
- Organize and file receiving reports.
- Manage visitor scheduling and onsite arrival processes.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support smooth plant operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Two to four years of prior administrative experience is required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- strong interpersonal skills for interacting with various departments.

- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
