We are searching for a Design Engineer in Mount Vernon, NY to work on the product development team of an HVAC manufacturing client. This is a contract position expected to convert into a direct-hire role with our client. A BS in Engineering is required and experience designing HVAC equipment is a preferred. Entry-level engineering candidates are encouraged to apply.

responsibilities:
- Design and develop new HVAC products and components, with emphasis on innovation, energy efficiency, and manufacturability.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and engineering drawings (SolidWorks or similar) for new designs and product improvements
- Support prototype development, assembly, and validation testing
- Participate in design reviews and provide engineering input to improve product performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
