A Construction Operations Professional is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Brownsville, TX area. This position requires a degree and 1 to 5 years of experience to coordinate system turnover and documentation tracking for large-scale construction projects.

responsibilities:
- Track pending issues and actions that impact the turnover of systems.
- Coordinate system walkdowns with relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate a sense of urgency to Construction, Field Engineering, and Pre-Commissioning teams to ensure commitments are met.
- Review field-generated inspection records to ensure quality and completeness.
- Log inspection records into completion management software for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Use multiple databases and BSAPs such as Teamworks, Setroute, and Aconex to check dossiers.
- Maintain and administer completions tracking databases.
- Prepare quality documents and conduct data audits.
- Support the implementation of records retention and turnover plans.
- Manage installation work packages and test packages.
- Update the Teamworks database regularly.
- Perform general administrative or clerical duties as assigned.
- Coordinate and track open punch list items to closure.
- Show proactive interest in pursuing learning activities related to the field.
- Develop a firm understanding of work packaging, test packaging, and area scoping.
- Support the development of other team members and provide operational training as required.
- University Hire with 1 to 2 years of experience.
- Alternatively, candidates with 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience working on an LNG construction site is preferred.
- Experience specifically along the U.S. Gulf Coast is an advantage.
- strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Literacy in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Understanding of and experience with Smart Completions and Unifier software is preferred.
