A Facilities Process Engineer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Boise, ID area. This is a Facilities Process Engineer role in the semiconductor industry, requiring a degreed engineer to oversee the design, specification review, and construction integration of complex chemical, gas, and water distribution systems.

responsibilities:
- Act as the Owner's Representative to review designs, specifications, and drawings, providing technical feedback and comments.
- Interface with clients and site personnel to drive design and construction documents through the formal review process.
- Establish design requirements and produce construction documents for complex manufacturing tools and infrastructure.
- Perform engineering calculations and equipment sizing for water, wastewater, and process chemical systems.
- Manage the retrofit of existing building systems, including component selection and specification.
- Review and edit client standards, P&IDs, layout drawings, vendor submittals, and RFIs.
- Collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Leverage AutoCAD proficiency and knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing tools or cleanrooms.
- Maintain strong organizational and communication skills while prioritizing tasks and demonstrating leadership.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited University
- At least 2 years of practical application of chemical/mechanical facilities engineering, including ultrapure water, chemical distribution, gas distribution, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, waste drains, pumps, tank storage/design and related chemical/mechanical facilities systems.
- At least 1 year of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms.
- At least 2 years of design project delivery processes experience.
