Our client, a leader in the advance debind and sintering equipment is looking for an Industrial Controls Specialist in their Pinecille, NC location. Key qualifications include, 3+ years of years of PLC troubleshooting experience in industrial/OEM, manufacturing, furnace, capital equipment or relevant environments. An assiciates degree in a relevant field is required.

responsibilities:
- Multidisciplinary Technical Support: Provide comprehensive remote and on-site support for mechanical, electrical, and controls systems, spanning the full equipment lifecycle from installation and commissioning to repairs and upgrades.
- PLC & HMI Systems Management: Troubleshoot Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms (Studio 5000, ControlLogix) and HMIs; analyze network/IO health and collaborate with Engineering to implement validated code changes.
- Continuous Improvement & Design Feedback: Drive DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFR (Design for Reliability) by capturing field failure modes and performance data to improve long-term system serviceability.
- Root Cause Analysis & CAPA: Lead technical investigations to identify root causes of system failures and execute Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to ensure permanent resolution.
- Compliance, Safety, & Documentation: Ensure all field activities and upgrades meet NFPA 86 standards and safety protocols while developing technical service documentation and training programs for customers and staff.
