responsibilities:
- Proactively expedite assigned equipment, materials, and logistics to ensure on-time site delivery aligned with project schedules, regularly reviewing vendor fabrication schedules to mitigate delays.
- Oversee the seamless flow of vendor documentation (such as drawings, RFIs, and Inspection Test Plans) between vendors, engineering, and internal teams to ensure prompt reviews and complete approvals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and vendors by scheduling, chairing, and minuting supply meetings, as well as providing regular status reports.
- Assist in invoice verification and actively collaborate with vendors to resolve freight claims, shipment errors, quantity discrepancies, and potential technical issues.
- Keep updated electronic records for timely purchase order and contract closeouts, while actively aiding in the coaching and mentoring of new hires and vendors on expediting best practices.
