Very reputable, growing and industry leading manufacturing company is looking for a Payroll Supervisor in Phoenix, Arizona.
This role comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $75k to $85k plus an annual bonus.
Relocation assistance is also available.

Reviews and approves the Centralized Payroll process for accuracy
-Performs Payroll process in absence of Payroll Specialist
-Verifies payroll data such as hours worked, taxes to be withheld, and employee identification numbers from company records -Prepares periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions
-Compiles tax information from system and prepares multi-state tax withholding returns, unemployment returns, and federal returns.
-Prepares multi-state registration application(s) for state tax withholding when necessary.
-Assists in monthly closing including reconciling accounts, posting journal entries, and researching questions
-Prepares and compiles requested information for the audit team
-Fulfills wage garnishment requirements by completing forms; adjusting payroll records, documenting and transmitting withholdings; negotiating with collection agencies to convert garnishments to wage assignments
-Supervises and coordinates fiscal and calendar year-end processing of payroll, including supplemental payrolls, W-2 and other tax forms, and other government required documentation.
-Supervise one or more payroll specialists or assistants
-High school diploma, BS or above preferred.
-Minimum 3-5 years payroll experience
-Working knowledge of accounting principles
-Proficient in use of 10 key calculator
-Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word)
-Knowledge of payroll laws and practices
-CPP designation preferred
