Industry leading manufacturer is looking for a promotable Process Engineer for their Cleveland, Ohio plant.
This role comes with very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $90k to $100k plus an annual bonus.
Relocation assistance is also available.

responsibilities:
Responsible for the successful implementation of process improvement initiatives
which directly result in a safer work environment, improved productivity, enhanced quality, and / or reduced costs.
? Work with the bargaining unit crews and supervision to implement and evaluate
operating strategies
? Review the execution of operating practices and evaluate their impact on the
process
? Ongoing review of current standard operating procedures in each area of the
process. Maintain contacts within the company and broader industry to allow best
practice implementation relative to these procedures. Facilitate changes to
standard operating procedures as needed and conduct training to ensure
understanding and successful implementation of any enhanced procedures.
? Work on various continuous improvement processes and projects for overall
process improvement (eg. increased productivity, improved yields, lower
consumable costs, improve process capability, develop AHSS practices etc.).
Also, develop and maintain Performance Improvement Action Plans related to
continuous process improvement and tracking of management gains.
? Lead and/or participate in the implementation of daily management Key
Performance Indicators (KPI's) and assist in achieving those targets. Track and
benchmark performance of other facilities using available data. Report
performance in Technical Benchmarking system as needed.
? Participate in the implementation of equipment upgrades, capital projects,
operating model upgrades and equipment commissioning
? Prepare or coordinate the preparation of reports, as well as the gathering and
analysis of data, to support assigned projects.
? Supervise the development and administration of technical training classes for
the hourly and salaried workforce as needed / requested by the operations.
? Support the environmental, safety, and quality management systems as needed.
? Assist R&D in the development and testing of new systems and models.
Maintain models after their implementation.
? Participate in, present at, and lead (as necessary) technology meetings, and
roundtables.
? Support major shop outages and start-ups as necessary.
? Assist in troubleshooting process performance and conformity issues
Bachelor's Degree - Technical or Equivalent Related Experience
? At least 5 years' experience in operations, maintenance or technology related to
the production process and good written and oral communication skills.
? Able to work on the shop floor/manufacturing environment.
