Very reputable and well established manufacturing company is looking for a promotable Electrical Engineer in the Charlotte, NC Area.
This role comes with a very competitive base salary ranging from $65k to $80k plus relocation assistance, medical/dental insurance, matching 401k plan, PTO, etc.
The ideal candidate will possess a BSEE along with experience as an electrical engineer in a manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing electrical control systems and panels, creating layout drawings, select control, power, and protection components.
- Able to identify and set optimal control parameters for VFD control.
- Responsible for conducting unit tests, integration tests, and system tests with project peers.
- Ability to create and release through ECN/ECR process the bills of materials and drawings into a Product Data Management system.
- Experience and ability to design, implement and test industrial control products and systems
- Knowledge of UL 508, CSA 22.2-33 standards, NFPA 70, and OSHA standards and regulations as well as the certification process.
- Knowledge and application experience with Motor Control Systems via Variable Frequency Drives and Contactor based control.
- Experience with Closed Loop and Open Loop motor control methods.
- Experience with sensor selection, implementation, and verification for motor control systems.
- Experience with setup of configurated industrial control panels.
- Experience with Electrical Design packages like AutoCAD or Solidworks
- 2+ years' material handling system/equipment knowledge
- Knowledge and experience participating in Industrial Codes & Standards regulatory bodies and professional associations
- ISO 9000 certification experience
- Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to write clearly about highly technical subject matter
- Capacity to analyze a problem and lead the solution implementation
- Good verbal and written communication skills
