Industry leading manufacturer is looking for a Sr. Process Engineer in the Buffalo, New York area.
This role comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $120k to $135k plus a 25% annual bonus opportunity.
Relocation assistance is also available for those willing to relocate to the Buffalo area.

responsibilities:
Responsibilities Include:
-Solve production problems involving web conveyance, coating quality, air flows and drying
-Support capital projects for capacity and process improvements
-Leads and/or supports continuous improvement programs to improve quality, cost and safety
-Participate and leads cross functional teams related to manufacturing programs
-Takes engineering lead on production capacity teams
-Instruct others and prepare Standard Operating Procedures to define steps/controls for the manufacturing process
-Stays informed on new coating technology and leads implementation of equipment to remain competitive
-Develop layouts to optimize process flow and material handling
-Supports actions and provides directional cost models on commercialization teams for new products
Required Qualifications: (Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job)
- BS Chemical/Mechanical or related engineering discipline
- 10+ years of related experience in web coating, handling, and winding; thin film experience preferred
