Growing, very reputable and leader within the building products industry is seeking a National Accounts Specialist in Orlando to call on distributors within the building products industry within northern Florida.
This role comes with an excellent compensation program with a base salary ranging from $75k to $85k plus monthly generous commission plan that could increase annual earnings up to $150k plus, company vehicle is also provided along with laptop, cell phone etc.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and should have experience calling on National Accounts within the building products industry.

responsibilities:
Develop Business Action Plans (BAP) yearly for each account and track quarterly
? Create programs and processes at the global level to improve sales and partnerships at the branch level
? Cascade the programs to the sales team for program support and success
? Effectively plan a calendar to travel a large area with set appointments
? Work with sales and other cross-functional departments and influence them to take action
? Cultivate relationships at the mid and upper levels of management at the National Accounts
? Identify down account and understand the cause while working with sales to remedy the situation
? Provide analytical feedback and suggestions on trends, insights, market conditions and industry intel to management
? Proactively create contests, programs and events to promote company to the National Accounts
? Identify Best Practices and articulate/cascade them to other branches and upper management
? Focus on higher level projects while leaving the branches day-to-day business with the sales team
? Effectively communicate programs and direction of National Accounts to sales and other cross-functional departments
? Assess the National Accounts need for samples, literature, training, contests, swag and programs and put a plan together to reach the goal
? At the end of the year, be able to show goals met, new programs, activities, creations and successes
? Possess the temperament of forming close relationships and trust at the mid to upper level of management within the national account organization
? Maintain a meeting summary database and show follow-up activities
? Hits monthly, quarterly and yearly goals without missing deadlines.
Coordinates use of other company resources (e.g. technical, advertising) to provide value added services to accounts.
Develops client relationships over time that provide significant input to planning company product, price, and service strategies.
Provides analysis and information on sales forecast and budget preparation.
Work with product managers on product and marketing strategies in support of the diverse range of products and customers.
Analyze historical data to determine long-term direction for assigned product lines in the assigned region/branches.
Works with Directors to negotiate most competitive prices and terms available and keep branches appraised of such programs.
Participates in developing and implementing strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.
Works with VP and Directors of Sales to provide insight on sales territories assignment to sales representatives.
Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.
Participates in product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
