Great client is looking for a contract Electrical Engineering Quality Technician that has a minium of 4 years working with Medical Devices. The right candidate must have strong electrical engineering tasks and have experience with electrical testing tools such as Oscilloscpoe and function generators to perform product testing.

responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
(20%) - Under supervision performs various electrical engineering tasks as assigned which may include preparing test apparatus disassembly and cleaning of materials and apparatus data gathering and reporting.
(80%) - Product testing - work with engineering to conduct testing to demonstrate performance of devices, including verification and validation activities.
Education: High School Diploma required; 2 year technical degree preferred
Experience: 4+ years in the medical device or related industry
Competences:
o Experience using electrical test equipment (Oscilloscope, function generator, etc.)
o strong work ethic and time management skills
o Good written and verbal communication skills
o Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel)
o Problem solving skills and good common sense to make sound technical decisions
o Read and understand product specification drawings
o Ability to work with minimal supervision
Other:
o Knows and adheres to the quality policy of the company and the quality-related procedures and instructions
o Reports any deviation in product or process, of which he/she becomes aware, to his/her manager or the Quality department
o Completes all necessary training in the area of Quality and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
o Immediately reports any dissatisfaction or complaint which is brought to their attention from a customer or patient regarding company's product (e.g. in terms of quality, durability, reliability, safety or performance) to the complaints department
o Complies with all health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and job hazard analyses applicable to specified job activities; including medical evaluations as required by job function
o Completes all required HSE training
