job summary: A prominent company in the food packaging equipment manufacturing industry is seeking a CAD Designer who will be responsible for designing products using CAD software applications SolidWorks and Draftsight. Designs production products, and sales drawings. Assists engineers with design and bill of material revisions and assists with the further development of design templates. Preference for local candidates in the Kansas City area. The position is salaried in the $75K range.   location: KANSAS CITY, Missouri job type: Permanent salary: $75,000 - 80,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: No Degree Required   responsibilities: ? Perform design work related to configuring, deploying, maintaining and upgrading CAD models. ? Design, high quality models per UltraSource standards using 2D and 3D CAD tools; knowledge and experience using SolidWorks. ? Update and maintain the company ERP and PDM system relating to engineering designs and BOM's. ?
