An Engineering Technician is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Fargo, ND area. Candidate should have A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma and minimum three years of experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering.

responsibilities:
Required Education:
- A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years of related experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering.
- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills, enabling correspondence with internal departments, vendors, and customers,working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and electronic components.
- Possess a thorough understanding of test equipment and methods (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc)and knowledge of advanced test equipment (logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, etc.).
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting to identify root cause.
- Ability to read advanced engineering documents, e.g., schematics or diagrams.
- Maintain necessary product records and documentation.
- Ability to comprehend and use product/process component datasheets.
- Ability to assemble and disassemble products.
- Ability to perform intermediate mechanical work.
- Ability to train or direct other technicians.
- Ability to learn advanced computer applications.
- Ability to research, tabulate, and summarize data.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
