A Process Engineer is needed for an American social media conglomerate corporation in the Sunnyvale, CA area. Candidate should have Bachelor of Science degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience or MS or PhD in Material Science, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.

responsibilities:
- Collaborate with material vendors for the collection of material property data.
- Systematically upload material property data to material database.
- Utilize internal material characterization tools and external labs to measure material properties (mechanical, chemical, optical, etc.)
- Maintain material database and synchronization to most recent data from material vendors and internal testings.
- Building and guiding vendors for project plans at module and full flow level.
- Working with internal and external partners to specify, install and ramp materials, processes and tools.
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams for build status update, DOE plan and execution, failure analysis and mitigations.
- Ability to document Request for Information/Proposal/Quotations that highlights the equipment/process requirements and specifications.
- BS in Material Science, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years experience testing, evaluating, and specifying materials in one or more of the following areas: optical clear adhesives, structure adhesives, polarizers, pressure sensitive adhesives, anisotropic conductive film.
- 1+ yrs of experience in the development of module equipments & process integration in the Flat Panel Display & Touch industries or optical module process related industries.
- Ability to perform and design DOEs, data analysis, SPC control, root cause investigation, failure analysis, implement corrective action.
- Experience thriving in an extremely dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Proven curiosity for science and technology.
- MS or PhD in Material Science, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience evaluating polymer mechanical, optical and electrical performance.
- Experience in formulation and development of adhesives.
- Experience with high tech and industry leading consumer hardware.
- Experience with polymer characterization, like DMA, quasi-static and high speed pull test, Adhesion, etc.
