Contract position: Client involved in heavy industrial EPC projects throughout the US is looking for a few Construction Site Safety Specialists to support their projects. These are long term projects in the Midwest, North East and South East. The ideal candidate has experience supporting multiple industries (power generation, T&D, Oil & Gas, Commercial Buildings, Environmental, etc...).

responsibilities:
- Provide full-time support in the field, on construction projects, to assure operations are planned and conducted in a safe manner
- Interface with the subcontractors, the customer & internal support groups to ensure that the project safety requirements & specifications are met
- Provide advice, guidance, and assistance to personnel involved in projects regarding safety and health issues and work practices
- Interface with Client Safety & Health Department on site safety & health issues and coordinate preventative measures
- Facilitates adherence to safety policies & procedures while maintaining compliance with the local, state, & federal OSHA rules & regulations
- Coordinate & mentor project safety & health walk-through assessments and then review any assessment findings with appropriate parties & follow up by documenting the items which require immediate correction
- Review and complete, as necessary, Near Miss, Incident and Accident Investigation reports and recommend countermeasures as appropriate

- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Education: High School
