Contract Project Opportunity: Client that designs & constructs gas processing plants is looking for a Construction Site HSE Manager for a project in Phoenix, AZ. You need 20+ years of overall construction experience supporting gas processing (natural gas, ethane recovery, sulfur, hydrocarbon, nitrogen rejection, gas treating, etc...) or similar plant EPC projects. You must have 5+ years of either O&M or Construction experience on ASU plants. This is an 11 month project assignment. Client will pay for mob/demob, a trip home and a per diem if you are not local.

responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall management, leadership and direction of this construction project and make sure that the contractual requirements and obligations are fulfilled safely
- Provide on-site administrative & technical management of all construction activities on an air separation unit construction plant
- Direct all aspects of Construction Project Management on this project, covering all construction phases from mobilization to project completion, including, but not limited to Safety performance, QA/QC, Budget, & Subcontract Administration
- Track project against safety, schedule, and budget objectives, reporting status to corporate office Management and customer on a regular basis, and executive staff on an as required basis
- Assist with the implementation of safety programs and provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required
- Develop and implement recovery plans for schedule slippage and unanticipated eventualities
- Manage construction project budget and control expenses effectively
- Work with Subcontractors daily to ensure that the project is constructed & documented in accordance with the project specifications, policies, detailed drawings & industry standards
