Logistics Specialist located near Lockport, NY for a leading chemical manufacturing organization. This role is responsible to organize shipment of incoming/outgoing international and domestic orders. To be considered - must have at least three (3) years logistics experience within a manufacturing environment (chemical manufacturing, food, or pharmaceutical is preferred). This is a contract role. - Proficient excel skills
- Knowledge of hazardous goods shipments

responsibilities:
- Organizes shipment of international and domestic orders
- Generate shipping documents in SAP
- Assign carriers to ensure shipments meet regulatory requirements
- Generate bills of lading with copies of MSDS and NAERG guide
- Complete shipping/receiving process in SAP
- Ensures timely receipt of incoming shipments
