Direct hire-Charlotte, NC- Local client is seeking a Process Engineer (Assembly Line) out of a the automotive industry. Must have at least an Asso. Degree and 5+ years of related experience from an Assembly line. Client is offering a Base salary + benefits,bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

responsibilities:

• Lead and support engineering activities on mass production assembly lines, include robotic, conveyorized and bench assembling method.
• Improve quality, reduce change over time and complexity, and production efficiency by working with cross functional team using problem solving tools such as lean A3.5-Why, lean six sigma.
• Drive systematic continuous improvement by using lean and automation manufacturing technologies such as robotics (Fanuc) & Vision, Manufacturing Execution System (MES), electronic process recipe management.
• Manage and implement new process changes driven from product changes and new product launches.
• Other duties as assigned.
