Contract position: Engineering client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Department Assistants/Office Assistants for a Contract to Hire position in Brookhaven, GA. You need 2-7 years of experience as an Office Assistant, Department Assistant, Project Assistant, Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Executive Assistant or Administrative Assistant. Experience doing this for any type of engineering or construction company would be considered a plus.

responsibilities:
- You will provide administrative support to a department of engineering, construction & project management employees
- Greet visitors and clients at office
- Receive and distribute mail as well as FedEx packages
- Provide general administrative support for company projects
- Handles the Admin inbox
- Organize and maintain project files, filing system and project communications
- Provide data entry for projects
- Deals with sensitive materials and info
- Record minutes from Project Manager/team meetings
- Provide some construction document and project controls (RFIs, submittals, etc)
- Collect and distribute client bills and invoices
- Maintain the department seating chart, type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Coordinate travel arrangements and any other internal services for various project needs
- Assist with the processing of expense reports
- Reserve conference rooms and coordinate client, vendor and/or supplier presentations, meetings and interviews, including set-up and cleanup
- Setup and monitor training and assist with applications/licensing
- This role is a in the office full time, Mon - Fri 8a-5p (no option for remote)
