Growing manufacturer of sheet metal based building products is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Lead for a direct hire career opportunity based near Bloomington due to growth. Candidate will be responsible for supporting all required manufacturing functions to increase productivity, efficiency, and safety of the production facility and lead a team of production employees.

responsibilities:
- Day-to-day leadership of assigned production group to ensure safety, improve quality, meet customer needs and improve processes.
- Practice lean manufacturing methodology to facilitate employee development, drive continuous improvements and achieve operational excellence.
- Metalworking / Hollow Metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Customer Service orientation.
- Dexterous with manufacturing equipment, basic tools and machinery.
- Experience with production planning and metrics.
- Experience with one or more Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
