A Process Drafter is needed for a leading Engineering and Design firm in the Chicago metro area. The Process Drafter is responsible for creating complex 2D and 3D piping drawings for industrial works.
Qualified candidates must have 5+ years' of piping drafting experience and proficiency with AutoCAD. Microstation proficiency and a CADD certification are strongly preferred. This is a contract role with a distinct probability of converting to direct hire. Our client is only seeking local talent at this time.

responsibilities:
- Develop CAD drawings from sketches and redlines
- Utilize field data to create flow diagrams and P&ID's
- Create documents to be utilized by stress engineering teams
- Create BOM's and formal drawing transmittals

- Education: High School (required)
