An international insurance organization has an immediate need for an insurance defense attorney with insurance defense experience licensed in California.
You will support the Pasadena office, but work is 100% REMOTE.
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) temporary role approved for 6 months in duration with the potential for an extension.
Job Requirements of an Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney: (a) An active license (in good standing) to practice law in California. (b) Five or more years of insurance defense experience. (c) strong writing and communication skills.
In this role you will be working on defending personal injury cases, specifically auto accidents and premises liability.
Primary duties include:
(i) tasks associated with the discovery process (e.g., taking depositions, preparing interrogatories, drafting discovery requests, reviewing medical records, etc.);
(ii) drafting pleadings and motions;
(iii) case evaluations;
(iv) arbitration and mediation
