The AP Manager will have strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy while maintaining superior customer service for both internal and external clients. The AP Manager will work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure appropriate AP cut-off and accrual to support monthly accounting close. The AP Manager also will administer the company's corporate credit card program and Concur travel and expense management platform. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES · Ensure timely and appropriate payments to vendors, customers, employees, and other constituents. Ensure timely transaction of treasury processes, including internal funds transfers.Manage tactical supplier relationships and ensure resolution of purchase/invoicing issues.Provide assistance to employees on establishing and approving new vendor relationships. · Maintain and enhance disbursement and vendor management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and other regulatory requirements. · Lead in development and integration of systems to enhance cost efficiency of disbursements while ensuring compliance with regulations, accounting policies and procedures. · Maintain the Travel and Expense Policy. Review non-compliance through employee expense reports using Concur. Educate internal customers and recommend changes in policy or processing procedures when required. · Support administration of the Corporate Credit Card program. · Liaise with external auditors for timely quarterly reviews, integrated year-end audits and maintain continuous communication and effective working relationships. · Hire, train and develop staff to ensure customer service coupled with internal control compliance to meet regulatory requirements. · Support preparation of audited statutory statements, audited generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) statements, and various state filings. · Provide oversight, leadership and support for SOX and MAR documentation. · Perform ad hoc responsibilities, as needed.   qualifications: SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Minimum of six years of progressive AP experience.
