The bank opens the incoming mail, deposits all received funds in the company's bank account, and scans the payments and any remittance information.salary: $21 - $21 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PMeducation: High` SchoolResponsibilities –Processing/opening mail and organizing it into the correct places –Scanning/data entry of checks/invoices into the system –Preparing checks/invoices to be sent out –Researching and clearing suspense items; researching and processing adjustments to accounts on various systems –Calculating or balancing routine accounting entries –Sorting, matching, ordering and/or reconciling items –Mail Sorting (attention to detail is needed to identify PO Boxes. Both hand sorting and using a sort machine.) –Assist in Preparing/Slicing Work Be Deadlines –Mail Extraction ( will open and prepare accounts to be imaged and layered per customer instructions.
