An international insurance organization has a need for an insurance defense attorney licensed in Texas.
This role will be 40 hours/week. The role is expected to be 3 months in duration, with a strong potential for an extension.
Work is hybrid, with some work in office and some work remote.
This position requires that you hold a valid license to practice law in Texas AND that you have at least 4 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
This litigator will be responsible for representing the commercial insureds of a prestigious and financially stable commercial
insurance carrier, by assisting with case management of moderate to high exposure Commercial General Liability and Auto cases from a challenging and varied caseload.
The selected candidate will perform duties encompassing all aspects of insurance defense, including initial investigation and
legal analysis and advice, preparing and filing legal pleadings and documents, performing legal research, preparing for and
conducting pre-trial discovery, preparing for and handling hearings and negotiating settlements.
