Responsibilities
Adopt Lean Manufacturing principles in an effort to reduce waste in our supply chain
Confer with manufacturing to determine material shortages in support of production demands and Kanban
stocking levels.
Monitor and maintain MRP to the latest forecast, order point and lead-time information
Adjusts Kanban inventory cards in order to maintain low inventory levels and high turns.
Maintain and perform daily cycle counts while maintaining accurate transactions on all inventory locations with
an expected accuracy of 95% or better.
Identify and segregate all E&O materials from active inventory.
Organizes stock room to ensure effective use of space
Control material movement of components throughout supply chain
Performs daily scrap transactions on materials
Performs daily back flushing transactions for materials being moved to finished goods
Notify / correct engineering BOM’s containing errors
