Responsibilities

This position requires attention to detail, computer skills, and the ability to read and understand technical requirements of the traveler and blueprint and providing technical support to the dimensional inspectors on all shifts. In addition, calibration and general upkeep of the ionograph machine, operating a Caltex measuring unit, overseeing hazardous waste can disposal and shearing of all scrap product within the final inspection department shall encompass this lead position.

·Read, understand, and interpret travelers and drawings provided to assess requirements and special instructions required for jobs.

·Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system for conformity to specified standards.

·Inspects product using the Optek coordinate measuring machine.

·Record and print out ALL dimensional reports required by customer.
