Responsibilities

As a Production Planner, you will plan and execute manufacturing workflow to meet customer requirements and ensure on-time delivery

• Review Master Production plan weekly and use various production control programs for backward scheduling/forecasting/planning to meet customer on time requirements

• Review shortages and apply just in time method to maintain the materials and parts inventory required for production of assemblies

• Coordinate the flow of materials, parts and sub-assemblies between shop floor departments, as well as to and from suppliers, by ensuring the availability of equipment, tooling, materials and labor

• Coordinate and communicate effectively with other departments such as Engineering, Methods, Quality, Manufacturing and Sales departments to ensure continuous work flow
