Ready to let your ambition thrive? We are looking for a candidate with previous leadership experience within the scrap metal manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and evaluating the day to day operations of a scrap metal facility. This is a management position with hands-on responsibility and accountability for daily production flow and bottom-line results.  

salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: Bachelor

Responsibilities

• Ensure each department is fully and properly staffed, and that all staff members are fully aware of their role within the company. Hire and replace where and when needed.
• Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations
• Identify new areas within the day-to-day operations that need improvements, and offer ideas/presentations on how to achieve such improvements.
• Ensure Monthly Steel Orders are completed on time and with as much efficiency as possible.
• Ensure All Nonferrous Orders are expedited on time, with the most cost-effective freight solution.
• Maintain OSHA and EPA standards and records - updating the binder and providing training sessions to the employees when necessary.
• Take on side projects - once the planning phase is complete, you will be responsible for supervising any "side projects".
• LEARN THE ENTIRE OPERATION FROM THE OWNER AND DIRECTLY ASSIST HIM IN RUNNING THE DAILY OPERATIONS!
