- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, related business technologies or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working as a compliance engineer, with experience with process analysis and a thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks. Software Security Engineering experience would be beneficial.
- Communication and problem-solving abilities are essential. Proficiency in report writing, analysis, and compliance procedures. The ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing.
- Skilled in business operations or project management.
- Solid technical knowledge and understanding of product/process design in an agile methodology, preferably experience with SAFe.

Responsibilities
- Building processes to ensure, measure and report on Climate/DFS’s engineering capability to meet NIST 800.53 rev5 and Cybersecurity Framework.
- Ensuring the company's technical compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Understanding and awareness of tests and studies into the company's product compliance.
- Producing reports on compliance testing, developments, and processes.
- Instituting best-practice procedures for compliance and risk mitigation.
- Developing strategies and implementation plans for compliance-related matters.
- Explaining and defining compliance protocols and measures to stakeholders and relevant authorities.
- Working within the Agile SAFe parameters to ensure all communicated timelines are established and adhered to.
