Responsibilities
- Posts payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions form direct deposits and checks.
- Updates receivables by analyzing the AR aging schedule.
- Maintains records by scanning and saving invoices, debits, and credits to the network drive.
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from billing, project managers, or customers.
- Resolves collections by examining payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with project managers.
- Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; reconciling and verifying totals; preparing reports.
- Tracks vendor compliance needs and updates records accordingly.
- Familiar with vendor compliance forms (1099 & COI)
- Familiar with NTO’s and release of liens
- Answers sub-contractor inquiries.
